Zimbabwe’s opposition files legal challenge against ‘fake’ election results

Zimbabwe’s opposition leader Nelson Chamisa has filed a legal challenge that claims the presidential election was rigged. The Zimbabwe electoral commission has declared that President Emmerson Mnangagwa and the ruling ZANU PF party won the election. Mr Chamisa has filed the challenge with his Movement for Democratic Change party just three days before Mr Mnangagwa’s inaugaration, alleging the election results were ‘fake’.
