Woman treated by paramedics after being hit by car in Perth’s south

A pedestrian is being treated by paramedics after she was hit by a car on Old Coast Road in Falcon this afternoon.

Police say the woman was struck by a car near the intersection of Mercedes Avenue just before 4.30pm.

It is believed the woman was conscious and breathing while being treated by St John Ambulance at the scene.

Traffic on the busy road was banked up significantly and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
