Woman charged over body in Vic bushland

A woman has been charged with the murder of Victorian man Jarrad Lovison.

The man from Newborough, a small town bordering Moe in Victoria’s east, disappeared in suspicious circumstances on April 16 this year.

His body was found on May 23 in bushland at Moondarra.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested after detectives searched a Moe home on Tuesday morning.

She faced Latrobe Magistrates Court on Tuesday afternoon and was remanded to return on January 7.

A white Toyota seized as part of the investigation will be forensically examined this week.
