West Coast axe Hamish Brayshaw, Xavier O’Neill and Jarrod Brander for clash with North Melbourne

West Coast has made four changes to the side that claimed a remarkable fighting victory over St Kilda to keep the club’s top four hopes alive.

Dom Sheed (hamstring) and Brendon Ah Chee (finger) both return from injury while young big man Bailey Williams has been named to return.

Earlier today, the Eagles announced young defender Luke Foley would become the club’s sixth debutant in 2020.

He replaces injured four-time All Australian defender Jeremy McGovern who goes out of the side with a hamstring strain.

Young trio Hamish Brayshaw, Xavier O’Neill and Jarrod Brander have all been dropped.

Eagles coach Adam Simpson said he wouldn’t rest star duo Nic Naitanui and Josh Kennedy given there would be a break for players after returning home to Perth.

“We’ve got enough players out of our side at the moment. To rest any more would be a challenge,” he said.

“We haven’t got many more to play.

“There’s a two-week break, plus if they don’t play this week it gets close to one game in a month. Then you start to think about form and continuity.”

North Melbourne has announced two changes to its side that was thumped by the Dockers.

Aiden Bonar (shoulder) has been ruled out while Mason Wood has been dropped for the third time this season.

Tom Murphy and Sam Durdin come into the side to face the Eagles.

Bouncedown is at 5.10pm (AWST) Thursday.
