If you want to relive the rollercoaster that was West Coast’s gutsy win over St Kilda, look no further than the coach’s box.
Adam Simpson doesn’t normally give much away but five games in 19 days seemed to allow the Eagles coach to loosen up.

With his side undermanned, coming off a four-day break and fighting for a guaranteed spot in the finals, Simmo let his passion take centre stage.
From expressing every fans fatique with the AFL’s review system after the third ARC referral of the half, to assessing the loss of four-time All-Australian Jeremy McGovern (hamstring), to finally letting it all out when the final siren went.
The significance of West Coast’s win was broadcast by Simpson’s demeanour across all four quarters and into the post-game press conference.
“One of my best wins for the club in my time, really brave effort,” Simpson said.
“Missing some players and the saints through everything at us as well, the guys played their role and with real spirit.
“To get that win tonight, it was a good feeling in the rooms.”
