Craig Cathcart unwittingly scored an own goal after an incredible scramble in the box saw him give Crystal Palace the lead on Saturday.
In the 38th minute, Luka Milivojevic put a corner into the area that proceeded to bounce off a number of players as the hosts tried to steer it towards goal.
James Tomkins poked it goalwards and as Abdoulaye Doucoure attempted to clear, the ball came off the thigh of Cathcart and headed over the line.
Ben Foster palmed the ball out again and as the scramble continued, referee Paul Tierney blew his whistle to indicate the ball had gone in and gave Crystal Palace the goal, with replays showing the ball was well over the line.
But Cathcart atoned for his error in the second half, heading home the equaliser for Watford before Tom Cleverley scored a superb volley to see Watford win 2-1.
