WAFL 2022: Claremont Tigers roar into preliminary final after belting Peel Thunder in semifinal

Claremont coach Ash Prescott orchestrated one of the finest performances of his illustrious career to send the Tigers into a third preliminary final in four years.

Just eight days after the Tigers were thrashed by a merciless East Fremantle, Prescott rejuvenated his side to keep them in the premiership hunt with a 16.15 (111) to 8.4 (52) win over Peel Thunder at Revo Fitness Stadium on Sunday.

Prescott made a bold call at the selection table, calling in forward Max Minear to replace injured tall defender Steven Miller (knee).

He then surprised many when he sent spearhead Timm House, who had kicked 21 goals in 16 games this season, into defence to take on young Fremantle forward Josh Treacy.
