WA records first division one Lotto win for 2019 with Mid West outlets selling tickets

WA has celebrated its first division one Lotto wins for 2019, with the winning tickets netting more than $500,000 each.

And in a win for regional Lotto players, both tickets were sold from outlets in the Mid West.

Queens Supa IGA in Geraldton and Dongara IGA were the two division one ticket-selling outlets from the Saturday Lotto draw.

The two winners are among seven to share in the top prize from across the country, each taking home $544,506.54.

The winning numbers from last night’s draw were 45, 5, 15, 11, 23, and 35. The supplementary numbers were 43 and 17.

WA Lotto players will be optimistic their luck can continue when Thursday night’s Powerball jackpots to a massive $100 million prize.

The $100 million jackpot is the equal biggest jackpot on offer in Australian history.

The record has only been matched twice before, in 2018 on Powerball when the prize pool was split between two winners, and then again in 2012 when OZ Lotto leaped to $100 million.

It’s been eight consecutive weeks since an Australian player has been unable to match Powerball’s winning numbers.
