Two men have been charged after a high-speed incident involving two cars in Rivervale and Burswood last month.
About 7.00pm on December 1, 2018, two men were sitting in a white Mazda sedan parked on Brighton Road in Rivervale when a black Toyota Prado stopped next to them.
According to Major Fraud Squad Detectives, four masked men got out of the Toyota and began attacking the sedan with hammers, causing significant damage to the panels and windows.
The driver of the Mazda drove away but was closely followed by the Toyota Prado with the four men on board.
The Mazda was followed along Great Eastern Highway onto Bolton Avenue, Glenn Place and Resort Drive in Burswood.
Police have released CCTV footage of the incident showing the two vehicles involved.
Both vehicles can be seen driving at high speed, weaving in and out of traffic in close proximity to other vehicles and pedestrians.
Police said two men had already been identified and subsequently charged in relation to the incident, but that the remaining men inside the Toyota Prado were yet to be identified.
