The Denver Police Department warned drivers to expect delays Thursday morning as officers investigate an auto-pedestrian crash in Lower Downtown.
A driver of an SUV hit a pedestrian at 19th and Market streets before 6:40 a.m., police spokesman Doug Schepman said. The man was seriously injured and is being treated for a cut on the head. Schepman did not know if he had additional injuries.
Schepman said it was too early to say what caused the crash but noted that the driver stayed on scene.
