Thirty-six people remain in Christchurch Hospital, with 12 operating theatres working throughout the night to save those injured in the Christchurch terror attack. Greg Robertson, Christchurch Hospital’s head of surgery told reporters on Saurday that of the 48 people admitted to hospital, 36 remain there and seven have been discharged. Four others died on their way to hospital and a four-year-old girl has been taken to Starship children’s hospital in Auckland in a critical condition. Among the 36 patients, there are two children, both boys and aged two and 13 who are in a stable condition. Eleven patients are in intensive care, including one woman in her mid 20s, all those in intensive care are critically ill.
