Thieves hit Mandurah sports store again

A Mandurah sports store left infuriated by a brazen robbery last week has been targeted by thief again.

Security cameras captured a man sprinting out of the Jim Kidd store in Mandurah Forum last week with thousands of dollars worth of goods in his arms.

Only days before 7NEWS reported on another incident, five brazen thieves bolted past the store manager’s Peter Hadida.

He tried to stop them, even barricaded the front entrance, but despite his efforts they still got through.

Mr Hadida says he’s never seen theft like it in his 23 years of retail experience.

“They’re becoming just more and more brazen. They’re grabbing items knowing they’re being observed with full intention of doing a runner,” Mr Hadida said.

Mr Hadida says the Jim Kidd’s Mandurah store has around $50,000 worth of stock stolen every year.
