Reigning premiers Augusta-Margaret River Hawks have kept their winning streak alive with a 68-point victory, leaving Collie Eagles still chasing their first win.
It was a battle of the birds as the Hawks and the Eagles went head to head at Gloucester Park on Saturday.
Although the Hawks had a fast start, with the ball spending more time inside their forward 50, they struggled to kick accurately in front of goal, booting 2.7 to 0.1 during the opening term.
While Collie put the pressure on, they struggled to get the ball forward until the dying moments of the first quarter.

The Eagles began to fight back in the second quarter with goals from Kolbee Fleay and Jayce Fontana.
Despite the Hawks holding strong to lead by half time, including a goal by league debutant Harvey Fisher, their struggle to convert in front of goal continued.
Although the Eagles put in a solid effort across the backline throughout the second half, the Hawks maintained control and sealed the win 12.16 (88) to 2.8 (20).
More to come.
