Perth Wildcats star Terrico White is breathing a sigh of relief after scans revealed no significant damage to his left knee.
White injured his knee during the third quarter of Sunday’s win over New Zealand. He was in clear pain as he hopped from the court after hurting his knee while spinning in a defensive move.
The Wildcats quickly ruled him out for the remainder of the game and booked him for scans yesterday. Those results have shown he has bone bruising but no ligament or structural damage.
Perth will now monitor him for the rest of the week before deciding whether to take him to Cairns for Saturday night’s match against the Taipans.
White injured the same knee last year and again during the pre-season.
The Wildcats have only one game this week which means if he can sit out one clash and have two weeks to recover before their next match.
