TOURNAMENT SUMMARY: World No.2 Aryna Sabalenka and 2018 Melbourne Park finalist Simona Halep are both through to the second week while Inglis’ exit leaves Ash Barty as the only local hope in the women’s draw. Men’s title favourite Daniil Medvedev also rolled on.
