World No.4 Cameron Smith will head a six-man Australian contingent in next week’s US Open golf championship.
Joining him in the 156-player field at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts will be Adam Scott, Lucas Herbert, Marc Leishman, Min Woo Lee and young Queenslander Jed Morgan.
The USGA announced the field on Wednesday following completion of qualifying, where no Australians were successful.
Australian PGA Championship winner Morgan got in by topping the Australasian tour Order of Merit.
He will arrive there after playing in the inaugual event of the rebel LIV Golf Series outside London.
