Seven-year warranty on Jazz | The West Australian

Honda is offering a seven-year warranty with seven-year roadside assistance on select models.

These include the Jazz from $17,990 including on-road costs for the VTi automatic and with a Honda accessory pack.

This hatchback has a 1.5-litre engine and is renowned for its fuel economy and space efficiency, evident by its liberal 354-litre boot extending to 1314 litres with the rear seats folded.

The long warranty deal also applies to the City VTi, which is the sedan version of the Jazz and has a bigger 536-litre boot.

The price includes on-road costs and the accessory kit.

There is a more up-market Jazz combining economy with a few more frills. The +Sport with automatic transmission is $24,079 including on-road costs, the seven-year warranty and roadside service, plus the accessory kit.

This version has the same engine as the City and Jazz VTi but adds satellite navigation, LED headlights and 16-inch alloy wheels.

MG has included a free two- year, 20,000km scheduled service bonus and metallic paint with some of its 2017-built models.

The mid-sized GS SUV opens at $21,990 drive-away for the Vivid variant with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and seven- speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels.

The GS Core adds features including 17-inch alloy wheels and six-speaker audio to the Vivid and comes in at $24,990 with on-road costs.

For a bit more gear, there’s the GS Excite for $27,990. It adds equipment including leather upholstery, satellite navigation, electric driver’s seat and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The top-spec GS Essence X is $32,990 drive-away and is the only one here with all-wheel- drive. It also has the bigger 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a six-speed automatic transmission, plus sports seats and 18-inch alloys.

Volkswagen has only just launched its mid-sized Tiguan Allspace seven-seat SUV but already there are some nice deals on offer.

The 110TDI Comfortline is $53,218 drive-away and comes with a $1000 bonus and five- year warranty.

This is the entry-level diesel Allspace yet is very well equipped with 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine, seven- speed automatic transmission, seven airbags including head airbags for the third row, eight-speaker audio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, satellite navigation and 18-inch wheels.

There is also a 110TSI 1.4-litre turbo-petrol variant for $45,884 drive-away and with the bonus and long warranty.

If you want more power, the 132TSI turbo-petrol has a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and AWD.

It has all the features of the 110TDI and more, plus is now $51,524 drive-away including a $1500 bonus and the five-year warranty.

The top-spec Highline versions of the Allspace are the 162TSI with AWD, a 162kW turbo engine and features including electric tailgate, 19-inch alloys, leather cabin and AEB with pedestrian detection. It is now $59,820 drive-away with a $2000 factory bonus and five-year warranty.

The diesel equivalent is the 140TDI that is now $61,440 with similar features and bonuses as the petrol model. It gets a $1500 factory bonus.
