A fire has ripped through a building south of Perth early Monday morning, with the arson squad investigating the cause of the blaze.
Firefighters were called to the scene just after 2.15am, when the blaze took hold in a Raine and Horne real estate office in Rockingham.
Large flames and heavy smoke were coming from the building along Railway Terrace and Harrison Street, and it took 20 minutes for firefighters to get the fire under control.
Five fire trucks attended the structure fire, which has extensively damaged the building.
The fire was contained to the one building but surrounding businesses, including a BWS and nail salon, had water damage.
In photos, the shop is seen to be completely destroyed by the fire, with everything inside almost unrecognisable due to the extent of the damage.
Police and Western Power also attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is undetermined, but the Arson Squad along with Fire Investigation Officers will be at the scene this morning investigating.
