Doncaster ended a run of two straight defeats after holding on for a 3-2 victory at Rochdale.
Goals from Ali Crawford, Andy Butler and Jermaine Anderson earned Rovers the win at the Crown Oil Arena, despite second-half Rochdale goals from Ian Henderson and Kgosi Ntlhe.
Doncaster took the lead in the 20th minute when Crawford scored from the edge of the area.
Rochdale spurned a golden opportunity to equalise when Henderson had an open goal in front of him from three yards but somehow fired against the crossbar.
Doncaster doubled their lead shortly after half-time when Butler headed home in the 50th minute, but Rochdale pulled a goal back from the penalty spot after 59 minutes. Henderson scored after Ntlhe was fouled by John Marquis.
Doncaster made it 3-1 when substitute Anderson netted at the far post from James Coppinger’s deep cross in the 68th minute.
Ntlhe forced the ball home from a corner for Rochdale with eight minutes to go to make it a nervy end, but Grant McCann’s side held on.
