Road safety measures increased following Prince Philip crash

New safety measures will be introduced on the road where Prince Philip crashed near the Sandringham Estate, which saw two women injured. The local council has met on the issue and will be implementing reductions in the speed limit, as well as installing speed cameras on the busy road. The Duke of Edinburgh has since been to hospital for a checkup, with doctors saying he has ‘no injuries of concern’. The 97-year-old duke has also been in contact with the two women in the other car, with a Palace spokeswoman saying contact was made ‘privately’ and ‘well-wishes exchanged’.
