Residents escape shots fired at SA home

The occupants of a house have escaped uninjured after two shots were fired through a bedroom window.

Police were called to the Murray Bridge property, east of Adelaide, early on Monday after those inside woke to sounds of gunshots and smashing glass.

Police said it was fortunate no one was injured in the incident.

Detectives and crime scene investigators have gone to the home to continue inquiries.
