Redcliffe Oval Hyundai Getz hoon ‘could have killed someone’

Two fencing contractors who were forced to take shelter on the back of their work vehicles to escape a hoon in a Hyundai say the erratic driver could have killed someone.

The woman behind the wheel of the Hyundai Getz allegedly ripped up the grass on Redcliffe Oval for up to 15 minutes on Thursday before she was stopped.

Reece Williams said he was glad the incident happened on a quiet weekday not on the weekend when the park is a popular destination for families.
