‘Real men don’t cry’: Fanny Lumsden

Australian country music singer Fanny Lumsden’s crowd funded second album has debuted at number one on the Australian country music charts. The singer says she wants to ‘declare a war on pride’ with her socially conscious new single titled ‘real men don’t cry’. Lumsden has told Sky News reporter Samantha Dawson people in the bush are struggling, especially now in drought conditions, and often ‘feel they have to keep a stiff upper lip and pretend they’re doing OK’. The young artist says she wants people, especially men, to know it’s OK to speak out and ask for help. Image: News Corp Australia
