Railways junior Coen Jackman shines with four-goal performance in Claremont’s reserves win over Peel Thunder

Railways junior Coen Jackman has put in another telling display for Claremont’s reserves side, kicking four goals in the Tigers 38-point win over Peel Thunder at Lane Group Stadium on Saturday.

Jackman was named in the Tigers’ best players after his four majors and 11 disposals for his side who remain on top of the WAFL reserves ladder following the 11.9 (75) to 5.7 (37) victory.

Ex-Railways midfielder Bailey Bennett was also influential with 23 disposals, seven tackles and five inside 50s and Railways defender Jacob Blight was a solid contributor, collecting 14 touches and seven marks.

North Albany product Talon Delacey continued his sound form in the win with nine possessions, three inside 50s and four tackles.

In the league fixture, Claremont went down by 22 points to Peel as Tigers captain Declan Mountford, who hails from North Albany, played an influential role in his side’s loss.

Mountford kicked a goal from midfield and finished with 14 disposals, four tackles and three inside 50s in the 9.8 (62) to 12.12 (84) defeat.

Kieran Gowdie was solid in the ruck with 11 hit-outs and eight disposals.

In the colts, Rhori Williams-Jolley from North Albany shone with 18 disposals and five inside 50s in the Tigers’ one-point win over Peel, 8.5 (53) to 7.10 (52).

Royals pair Cooper Childs and Carson Flower also played well, Childs finishing with 11 touches and four inside 50s while Flower had 11 disposals.

North Albany junior Heath Ravenhill had nine disposals, five tackles and four inside 50s in their second win of the season.
