A man has been left fighting for life after he was found lying injured on a Mandurah street on Christmas Day.
Members of the public found the man on Mandurah Road in Dudley Park at about 6.30pm with serious injuries.
He was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition, more than two weeks after he was found.
Mandurah detectives believe the 41-year-old victim had been speaking with the male and female occupants of a white Ford Falcon XR6 stopped on Mandurah Road just prior to him sustaining his injuries.
Police said the occupants of the Ford then continued on their way before stopping again on Coodanup Drive, where they are believed to have spoken to the occupants of an orange Holden Colorado Z71.
Both vehicles continued along Coodanup Drive and left the area.
Anyone with any information relating to these two vehicles or their occupants is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at crimestopperswa.com.au.
