Police are investigating a crash that left a vehicle wedged atop a brick wall in front of a property on Frenchman Bay Road in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It is understood a 61-year-old man was the sole occupant of the Jeep Cherokee when it veered off the road, hit a culvert, then landed on a brick wall about 1.45am on Sunday.
The crash caused significant damage to the front wall of a property in Little Grove.
Paramedics and police attended the scene, with the driver sustaining minor injuries.
Police confirmed the man was breath-tested after the crash. Albany Sgt Greg Webb said the incident was under investigation. “We will be making further inquiries,” Sgt Webb said.
“There has got to be an explanation as to why a gentleman has veered off the road like that.”
