Police investigating crash that left Jeep stuck on brick wall in Albany

Police are investigating a crash that left a vehicle wedged atop a brick wall in front of a property on Frenchman Bay Road in the early hours of Sunday morning.

It is understood a 61-year-old man was the sole occupant of the Jeep Cherokee when it veered off the road, hit a culvert, then landed on a brick wall about 1.45am on Sunday.

The crash caused significant damage to the front wall of a property in Little Grove.

Paramedics and police attended the scene, with the driver sustaining minor injuries.

“There has got to be an explanation as to why a gentleman has veered off the road like that.”
