Police hunt knife-wielding sex predator who broke into woman’s Golden Bay home on Sunday

Police are on the hunt for an armed sex predator who broke into a woman’s home in Perth’s southern suburbs on Sunday.

Sex assault squad detectives say the woman was attacked in her Golden Bay home in the early hours of Sunday.

Police say the attacker entered the Thunderlarra Drive home armed with a knife between 12.30am and 1.30am.

He confronted the woman before sexually assaulting her. He then fled.

He is described as having fair skin with a muscular build and is approximately 175 centimetres tall. He was wearing a black balaclava, jeans and a red jacket.

Detectives are urging anyone who saw any suspicious people in the area at the time, or has CCTV or dash-cam vision, to come forward.
