The Perth Wildcats have suffered a significant injury blow ahead of a testing stretch in the NBL schedule, with import swingman Terrico White likely to miss multiple games with hamstring soreness.
It is understood White suffered the injury at training late this week.
The 28-year-old will miss tonight’s home clash against Brisbane, which marks the first of five games in a 17-day stretch for the league leaders.
The Wildcats are yet to put a timeframe on the injury.
White ranks among the NBL’s top ten for points per game, averaging 16.8 points in his first six appearances in Australia.
In better news for Perth, fellow import Bryce Cotton is set to face the Bullets despite leaving training early yesterday with a knee complaint.
Perth skipper Damian Martin will miss both of this weekend’s games against the Bullets and Illawarra as he continues to rehab a calf injury.
