Perth visitors: Mitchell Freeway lane reopened after Clarkson crash

Motorists have resumed normal travel after an early-morning crash involving a car towing a trailer closed part of the Mitchell Freeway.

Main Roads said the crash occurred about 4.30am near the Neerabup Road exit.

The left lane of the freeway near the exit had been closed by traffic management for those travelling north.

Towing services and police attended the scene, though officers said the driver of the car was not there when they arrived.

The driver has since been found and the freeway cleared.
