Mix 94.5 has clawed its way back to the top in the radio ratings war, sneaking ahead of close rival Nova 937.
The two FM rivals have been neck and neck for much of the year with Nova sneaking ahead in the last two surveys.
But Mix has been recovering lost ground and the latest data from GfK shows has them ahead again 14.1 per cent of the audience.
Nova has come off the highs of two surveys ago and collected 13.5 per cent to be second ahead of Hit 92.9 with 10.8 per cent.
Mix’s win came off the back of a big jump in listeners tuning in to their breakfast team of Clairsy, Matt and Kymba – up 1.3 points.
Nova’s Nathan Nat and Shaun is still ahead at breakfast with a 14.6 per cent audience share but the gap is narrowing.
Hit 92.9 was another big breakfast winner, with Heidi, Xavier and Ryan drawing up to third place with 11.3 per cent.
There were few changes elsewhere in the overall ratings, although 6PR (10.1pc) lost ground in the breakfast slot over AM rival ABC Perth (11.3pc).
In the morning AM talkback slot, the ABC’s Peter Bell, Paula Kruger and Nadia Mitsopoulos jumped 1.5 points to 8.8 per cent, opening up a solid lead over 6PR’s Gareth Parker who fell 0.9 points to 6.2 per cent.
