Suited to people who enjoy entertaining, Celebration Homes’ Harvey display shows how much can be achieved on a narrow lot.

Built on a block just 12.5m wide, the floor plan has been thoughtfully executed to maximise the areas in the home and prioritises the living area first and foremost.

Celebration Homes Sales Manager Alistair Harris said the layout had been designed to have 60 per cent of the width reserved for the open-plan kitchen, living and dining areas.

“The other 40 per cent is sleeping quarters, wet areas and a theatre room,” he said. “This has given the home an uncommonly large living area compared to what a client would usually expect from a 12.5m-wide block.”

One of the key aspects of the living space is the kitchen, which benefits from a luxurious island bench and is serviced by a scullery to ensure all the mess is hidden and does not impinge on the grandeur of the main section.

The open-plan area seamlessly flows out to the alfresco, a great spot to sit and have a conversation with loved ones.

Walking through the open-plan setup brings first the dining area and then the family area into view before naturally flowing out to the outside area which features a high table with chairs, ideal for outdoor entertaining.

Three of the four bedrooms feature in the back corner of the home and include built-in robes while enjoying access to the main bathroom.

The master bedroom has been positioned at the front of the house and is flooded with natural light from the large window that shows off the front garden.

Featuring an open design, the bedroom effortlessly links with the walk-in robe which in turn connects with an ensuite that has a double vanity and a large shower. A laundry with a built-in linen closet finishes off the internal offerings.

Mr Harris said this design was perfect for a larger family looking for extra space.

“There is plenty of room to run around in a home, with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cinema, a huge living area and even a scullery,” he said.

“We tend to think bigger is better, but the Harvey really does show you that large streamlined spaces are achievable within a 12.5m frontage.”

The display is located in Aveley and is open for viewing on Wednesdays from 2-5pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5pm.
