New Zealand flags half-masted on day after deadly terror attack

March 16, 2019. Flags on all Government and public buildings across New Zealand are being flown at half-mast on Saturday as a mark of mourning and respect for the victims of the Deans Avenue mosque and Linwood Avenue mosque terror attacks. Officials say 41 people were killed at the Masjid Al Noor mosque on Deans Avenue, before shooting broke out at Linwood Masjid six kilometres away, leaving seven more dead. One other has died in hospital. Police on Saturday confirmed 42 were still being treated for injuries, including a five-year-old in critical condition. (AAP VIDEO/Daniel Hicks)
