Nathan Lyon has conceded a world-record amount of sixes, but has also taken a whole lot of wickets.
Today, he did both in the space of two balls.
The off-spinner was smashed for a pair of sixes in the opening two sessions of this morning’s First Test, making him the first bowler in Test history to go past the 200 mark.
The second maximum was inches away from being a wicket, with Rohit Sharma only fractionally clearing the rope and a valiant catching effort from Marcus Harris.
But Lyon snared revenge in the best possible way the very next ball.

Sharma tried to repeat the dose with a slog sweep, but ended up skying the ball to Harris who comfortably took the catch as he ran in.
Lyon would later claim the scalp of Rishabh Pant with a beautiful delivery that had the batsman leaning forward and nicking behind, leaving India floundering at 6-127.
Lyon has now taken 320 career wickets as he looks to bear down on Dennis Lillee’s famous mark of 355 by the end of the summer.
Only Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath have taken more for Australia.
