Naked man in Colorado Springs reports assault, lost clothing

A man reported early Monday that he had been assaulted, robbed and stripped of his clothing, Colorado Springs police said in a news release.

Officers responded to a report of a naked man with injuries shortly after 5 a.m. in the 2400 block of East Pikes Peak Avenue, just east of Memorial Park.

The man said he had run to the area for help after the attack, which he said had occurred at another location.

The temperature at the time of the incident was about 4 degrees.
