Missing Perth family found after ‘travelling interstate’

A young Perth couple and their new baby who went missing for two weeks have been found interstate.

Coree Stewart, 26, his wife Patricia Taylor, 28, and their 16-week-old baby Isaac were last seen at their Balcatta unit a fortnight ago.

Early this morning WA Police put out a public plea for information on their whereabouts.

However, shortly after 11.30am a police spokesperson confirmed the family had been found after “travelling interstate”.

It is understood the family were sighted in Adelaide but are yet to make contact with their

Police are still carrying out enquires about their welfare.

Mr Stewart’s aunt Georgia said the family were extremely relieved and happy to hear about the sighting.

This morning Mr Stewart’s mother Michelle said the young parents became distant after the birth of their son, which took an emotional toll on them.

“There was a Christian camp down south and I thought they were with them,” Michelle told The West Australian.
