Mesut Ozil has returned to full training after missing Arsenal’s 5-1 victory over Fulham last Sunday with a back spasm.
The German midfielder missed his second Premier League match of the season, having started the other six, with the emphatic win at Craven Cottage marking the club’s sixth league victory in a row.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles has also returned to full training following a small fracture to his left fibula in August.
He has not featured since hobbling off in the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City on the opening weekend of the season.
Meanwhile, Danny Welbeck and Petr Cech (both hamstring) are being assessed ahead of Arsenal’s game with Leicester on October 22 – live on Sky Sports Premier League.
Welbeck has remained with the England squad despite picking up a knock against Fulham, while Cech has been out since suffering the hamstring injury against Watford on September 29.
