Swindon will check on the fitness of Michael Doughty ahead of the visit of Oldham.
Midfielder Doughty has missed the last two matches with a hip problem but was hoping to return to training on Friday.
Centre-half Dion Conroy is available after coming through a behind-closed-doors match earlier this week. The former Chelsea youngster has not featured since August 11 due to a knee injury.
Oldham have no new injury worries following the 3-3 draw at home to Colchester. Striker Ishmael Miller has made two brief substitute appearances following a hamstring injury and is likely to be on the bench again.
Giles Coke and Cameron Dummigan are continuing their recoveries from injury. On-loan Jordan Lyden remains sidelined, as does fellow midfielder Ousmane Fane.
Swindon have taken just three points from their last six home league matches (P6 W0 D3 L3) against Oldham.
Oldham and Swindon are set to meet in the fourth tier for the first time, having faced in all three other divisions across their 52 previous league meetings.
Swindon, who suffered their first home league defeat of the season in their last such match against Bury, haven’t lost back-to-back matches at the County Ground in League Two since December 2017 (three straight defeats).
Oldham are unbeaten in their last eight away league games (W2 D6), winning both of their last two. They last won three straight away league matches in April 2014 in League One.
Swindon have gained a league-high eight points from losing positions this season, with seven of those coming at the County Ground.
