Striker Jabo Ibehre is still battling to shake off a tight hamstring in time for Cambridge’s League Two clash with Notts County.

Brad Halliday could be available after a knock, having missed out in last weekend’s 3-0 defeat at Port Vale.

Transfer window recruit Louis John is still waiting for his debut after remaining an unused replacement in the season-opening loss at Vale. New recruit Barry Corr is pushing for a start after climbing off the bench for his club debut last weekend.

Wigan summer signing Andy Kellett remains a doubt to make his Notts County debut. The 24-year-old midfielder picked up a calf problem ahead of last weekend’s season-opening goalless draw with Colchester and is still fighting for full fitness.

Manager Kevin Nolan could be tempted into making changes after drawing a frustrating blank in front of goal against Colchester. Kristian Dennis, Lewis Alessandra and Terry Hawkridge will all be pushing to start having sat on the bench last week.
