Liam Gibson is a doubt for Accrington’s crunch League One clash against Rochdale.
The defender has been battling a stomach problem and this game could come too early, while Ross Sykes is definitely ruled out with a groin injury.
Seamus Conneely has been sidelined by a similar issue for the last month but could return while goalkeeper Dimitar Evtimov completes his three-game suspension. Stanley ended a three-game losing run with victory over Wycombe in midweek and sit four points above the relegation zone.
Dale are in the bottom four and will be without Ethan Ebanks-Landell. The on-loan Wolves man sustained a thigh injury in training on Monday and has returned to his parent club for treatment, with the problem expected to rule him out for at least three or four weeks.
Midfielder Jordan Williams serves the second game of a two-match suspension after amassing 10 yellow cards this season. Defender Ryan McLaughlin is a doubt after being substituted early in the midweek draw with Oxford having sustained a knock to the head.
Accrington have never won a Football League home game against Rochdale (D1 L5), losing each of their last five, with the only point coming in their first ever meeting in August 2006.
Rochdale have won 10 of their last 12 league encounters with Accrington (L2), winning each of the last three.
Accrington Stanley have lost both of their last two home league games, last losing more in a row on home soil in October 2013 in League Two (run of four), which included a 1-2 defeat to Rochdale.
Rochdale have lost five of their six away league games in 2019, winning the other 2-1 at Walsall in February.
Rochdale’s Ian Henderson has both scored (16 – 36.4%) and been directly involved in (21, 16 goals, 5 assists – 47.7%) a higher proportion of his side’s goals than any other player in League One this season.
