The South Hedland man who drove his Ford Ranger 4WD through the front glass doors and into the foyer of the South Hedland Health Campus has been charged with criminal damage or destruction of property and reckless driving this afternoon.

The 45-year-old drove his car through the campus doors at 6.30pm on September 7.

No one was injured but the crash in excess of $50,000 of damage.

South Hedland Police investigated the circumstances surrounding a crash before charging the man today.

He is due to appear in South Hedland Magistrates Court on 29 October 2018.
