A 24-year-old man has been taken to hospital with a serious facial cut after he was glassed at a popular Northbridge nightspot, police say.
The victim was struck after being approached by another man at Henry Summer on Aberdeen Street about 1am Saturday, suffering a “serious laceration to his face”.
Friends and other revellers provided first aid before he was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.
A 33-year-old man was detained by security and other patrons until police arrived and he was taken into custody, where he remains.
Police are investigating what sparked the attack.
