Liverpool are reportedly opening talks with a long-term target as we round up the latest rumours on Monday, May 28.
Liverpool will begin negotiations with Lyon this week regarding a move for France international Nabil Fekir, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The 24-year-old distanced himself from a move to Anfield on Sunday, but the Reds remain firm favourites to sign the forward, who could cost in the region of £53m.
Elsewhere, Liverpool will make another attempt to sign Roma goalkeeper Alisson after the flaws in Jurgen Klopp’s side were calamitously exposed in the Champions League final, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Loris Karius inevitably received severe criticism after two errors on Saturday, and Klopp could now move for Allison, who has a price tag of £60m.
The Daily Express claims Jan Oblak also features on the club’s wish-list of ‘keepers, though the £80m release clause in his Atletico Madrid contract could put Liverpool off.
