Light pole no match for heavy wind

A lighting tower at Boyup Brook Oval was one of the casualties of the wild weather experienced on Sunday across the region.

The damage was discovered on Monday morning and reported to the Boyup Brook Shire council.

Despite the heavy wind and wild weather, the region was mostly spared serious damage, with the Bridgetown and Manjimup SES units receiving zero call-outs. The pole has been removed from the track surrounding the oval.
