Indigenous activist Cheree Toka celebrates as Aboriginal flag given permanent place on Sydney Harbour Bridge

An Indigenous activist says she’s “ecstatic and over the moon” after winning her five-year battle to have the Aboriginal flag fly over the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
