Time is running out for Bella to appear at the station so Nikau pulls out all the stops and cons her into coming out of hiding.
It’s very dark and hard to make out but it appears that Bella has been hiding out in some sort of crevasse and things are pretty desperate — she’s very low on food and her torch is out of batteries.
She turns on her phone and listens to Nikau’s voice mail.
I didn’t think he had it in him but the young man really knows how to lay it on and does the whole “I hope you haven’t run away because you regret sleeping with me”.
The reunion between Bella and Nikau is sweet but it doesn’t last long because the young lovers have their first fight when Bella realises it was on false pretences.
Bella digs her hells in and refuses to leave but Nikau has a whole rescue crew with him — Ari, Tane and Mac — who stress that Bella is only making things harder by refusing to cooperate with the police.
It switches back to the police station and Angelo announces that he’s on his way to the magistrate to finalise Bella’s arrest warrant.
But then Bella appears. And Colby literally looks the scaredest man I’ve ever seen and is on the verge of tears, and not the happy kind.
While all of this has been going on, Colby’s plan to get Taylor, Angelo’s wife drunk is working wonders and she appears to be lapping up his hospitality.
Taylor casually tells Colby that “you know my husband is obsessed with you” and he feel like his maybe hour of hard work befriending her has paid off.
But Taylor is friendly, really friendly, almost like she’s playing him to get information particularly about Bella.
Justin receives his diagnosis and as suspected it’s not good and he will likely be the next victim of Leah’s dead husband curse.
There’s a tumour on his spine which explains the symptoms he’s been showing and the doctors are going to do a biopsy to find out how severe it is.
But before the results come in, Justin decides he’s doesn’t want the surgery because the risks are too high and is content living with a tumour time bomb inside him.
It seems like a no-brainer to have the procedure done but maybe he hasn’t quite processed it all and will have a change of mind.
So Justin comes home and all of a sudden they have a doggo. I’ve never seen the dog but none of the characters are as excited about the dog as I am so I’m guessing this is another thing the producers have forgotten about.
Dr Tori and Leah are really concerned, about Justin not the doggo, although someone should be concerned about the dog because no one has ever walked or fed it.
