Health course internships | The West Australian

New Edith Cowan University internships will provide high-performing students in nutrition, health and occupational safety with a pathway to employment at businesses across the region.

ECU’s South West campus is seeking businesses interested in these opportunities for students in their second year of the university’s Bachelor of Health Science course.

ECU School of Medical and Health Sciences South West co-ordinator Dr Stephanie Godrich said it was an exciting opportunity.

“It’s essentially a mutually beneficial arrangement where the students gain invaluable real-world experience while also providing capacity-building assistance and fresh insight for our region’s operators,” she said.

The internships, which will run over a six to nine-month period, are suited to businesses, organisations and government departments. For more information about the Bachelor of Health Science course, visit www.ecuget ready.com.au/southwest.
