Fyre dominate All-Stars in another strong Broome Touch Association showing

Fyre has won a decisive victory over the All-Stars, more than doubling their score to see their impressive form continue in the Broome Touch Association division one league.

Playing under the Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre Thursday night lights, Damon Enosa dominated the game making four tries for Fyre in the first half alone and five overall to help his team to a 13-5 victory.

Fyre’s Sophie Moore received the three-points for female MVP, while Damon Enosa was the obvious MVP for the men.

The Runaways managed to defeat the Bushchooks with Jasper John from the Runaways getting three tries in the first half and two in the second to see the game finish 9-4.

Bree Bannister for the Bushchooks and Grace Kinnear for the Runaways were the best performers out of the girls during the match.

The Greenbacks succumbed to the Pirates with a final score of 9-5 after a strong three-try performance from Pirates Simone Russell and Lachlan Tate.

In division two, the Primewest Panthers put on an impressive display against Good Palpations, taking the win 13-2.

It was a close match between the Stingers and Exploders in division two with the Stingers eventually coming out on top scoring 12 points to the Exploder’s 9 points.

And finally the Scoregasms lost to ARAC Attack, 9-5 with Julia Mackenzie from the Scoregasms making four of the teams five points.
