Fremantle draftee Neil Erasmus puts hand up for debut as Joel Western, Lachie Cullen impress for Peel Thunder

Top-10 pick Neil Erasmus again staked his claim for a Dockers debut and second-year small forward Joel Western was a standout as Fremantle’s affiliate Peel Thunder made it two pre-season wins from as many starts against Perth on Saturday night.

But the Dockers are expected to lose Josh Treacy for at least a week after the hulking forward went down with an ankle injury early in the 50-point win over the Demons.

“It’s looking like a one-to-three week ankle injury for Josh, so nothing too serious,” Thunder coach Geoff Valentine said.

Peel piled on 14 goals for the match with classy forward Lachie Cullen, reaping the benefits of a train-on stint at Freo, leading the way with four.
