Fremantle Dockers draftee Jye Amiss kicks maiden AFL goal with first kick against North Melbourne

Fremantle’s most exciting key forward prospect since Matthew Pavlich has kicked his first goal for the club with his first kick, just minutes into their Friday night clash with North Melbourne.

Fans desperate for some positive signs from Jye Amiss, the 19-year-old sharpshooter taken with pick eight in last year’s draft, had to wait just seven minutes.

His key forward partner Josh Treacy broke away from a scramble on the wing and delivered to Amiss, who was one-out with Kangaroos defender Aiden Corr.
