Fremantle Dockers coach Justin Longmuir says St Kilda loss ‘one of the more disappointing’ he’s been in

Fremantle is facing a nervous wait to learn the severity of an ankle injury to ruckman Sean Darcy ahead of Sunday’s western derby as coach Justin Longmuir was left tearing his hair out over the inability to execute the basic against St Kilda.

The Dockers lost 9.11 (65) to 8.7 (55) after being comprehensively beaten in the midfield without both Nat Fyfe and David Mundy.

Mundy will end his COVID protocols in time for the derby but Fyfe will be sidelined for up to six weeks with a back injury.
